Lorenzo Bowdry has worked as a Test-Coordinator, Site Solutions with Vecta Labs out of our Dallas location for the past four years.
In his role with Vecta Labs, Lorenzo prepares materials for testing and tests materials, ensuring they meet the required standards.
Please take a few moments to learn a little more about and meet Lorenzo:
Q1. What do you enjoy most about working with Vecta Labs?
What I enjoy most about working at Vecta Labs is the ability to learn new things and become more knowledgeable in the telecom field by being hands-on with all different types of equipment.
Q2. Can you describe what a typical day at work is like for you?
A typical day for me at work consists of getting our chamber in Dallas set up for testing with the correct analyzers, cables, connectors and antennas. Depending on the specs of the antenna will determine how long an antenna will take to test. Between 20 minutes and up to 2 hours to complete one (1) antenna test. After testing PIM on the antennas, we begin packaging the antenna back up beginning with the caps then back in the box and taped up to wait for further instructions.
Q3. Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
Outside of work I love spending time with my family first and foremost. So I am trying new things with my wife and son, going to the gym, playing basketball, and going to the shooting range. Also, I love watching baseball, GO BRAVES!!
