As part of our continuing ‘Meet the Team’ series, today we’d love to introduce you to Vecta Labs Test Technician, Admire Mazani who has been with Vecta Labs for a year. See our Q&A with Admire here:
Q1. What do you enjoy most about working with Vecta Labs?
I enjoy the environment, the team. We always work as a team. I also enjoy the nature of the job – it is technical, challenging and pushes you to think outside of the box. You also have to come up with practical solutions and you learn quickly, there are no shortcuts, so I enjoy ensuring I do everything by the book.
Q2. Can you describe what a typical day at work is like for you?
For me, now that I work on the assembly line, it’s all about building the sectors. I’ll be doing the cabling, connecting the fibreoptics and connecting RF cables to the antenna ports. That’s a typical day for me.
Q3. Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy playing and watching soccer. Coming from Zimbabwe, I enjoy touring around and discovering Australia. I also enjoy watching movies – I like thriller movies, romantic comedies and anything with the late Chadwick Boseman, Denzel Washington, Steven Segal, Jason Statham or Vin Diesel in it.
