Vecta joins NGMN

Vecta joins NGMN

Date: 4 Dec 2019

Vecta, a trusted independent Test Services company is delighted to announce that it has joined the industry alliance ‘Next Generation Mobile Networks’ (NGMN).

Vecta’s services focus on enabling better performing networks, through test and measurement.  It equips Carriers and vendors with hard, reliable data (knowledge) that allows a proactive approach to negating substandard components entering service, or if installed, through onsite remediation.

Greg Delforce, Vecta’s Director of Technology commented “Vecta set out to deal with the TCO (total cost of ownership) problem, where substandard equipment was degrading cell performance and more generally, the value generated from these networks.  We continue to forge great relationships with carriers, radio access vendors, universities and independent technology developers to introduce best-practice solutions with impressive test capabilities.  Participating within the NGMN Alliance alongside other industry champions is a very logical connection for us, taking us towards new measurement tools that contribute to the level of network operation expected in this modern network era.

Peter Meissner, CEO of NGMN said, “We are delighted to welcome Vecta as a member of NGMN as we continue to establish and drive fundamental and forward-looking requirements for network operations. Vecta’s work developing innovative test solutions and its commitment towards ensuring the best, reliable network performance in increasingly demanding 5G networks is critical. We look forward to collaborating together and making progress at a rapidly evolving time of network development.”
