This week, in our Meet the Team series, we wanted to introduce Vecta Lab’s Senior Technician and Section Supervisor for the Staging and Final Inspection line, Bao Tran.
Bao has worked with Vecta Labs in this capacity for the past 11 months.
Q1. What do you enjoy most about working with Vecta Labs?
Getting to work with the high-tech toys. It’s very specialised, tricky to get into – every job listing requires lots of experience. I get to learn from some very experienced and knowledgeable people and get to share that knowledge with the staff I work with.
Q2. Can you describe what a typical day at work is like for you?
I oversee the operations I am in charge of, and I make sure everything is up to high standards that Vecta expects. I use a hands-on approach, working alongside my team and guide through example, demonstration and by doing the work.
Q3. Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy going to the movies, watching movies – I’m a big fan of suspense thrillers, and I enjoy playing board games – I love trying all the European board games that come out as they are always very engaging and fun games.
